I really want to do some Christmas Colouring that isn’t too Christmassy if you know what I mean.

I don’t want entire books full of santas, snowmen, trees, baubles and christmas presents.

Personally I am only going to colour in a few images and then Christmas will be over and it’ll be a waste of a book.

So I jumped at the chance to review Winter Dream 20 Postcards by Hanna Karlzon.

This cute book is nice and small and easy to fit in your pocket or handbag for colouring whilst you are away from home and the images are detailed but not too intricate.

The cardstock is very thick and much better quality than any other postcards I’ve seen. It’s a cream colour card with a very good tooth to it similar to her books but much much thicker.

The 20 postcards are gluebound to the book but pull out very easy and have lines for the address and stamp and clear space for a written message. They are standard postcard size.

I’ve coloured 1 images so far of a gingerbread house using sparkly gel pens and copic glitter pens the entire image took me just 30 minutes to complete and i’m very happy with the results.

These images are Christmassy but not too over the top and i’d be happy to continue colouring these even after the festive season is over.

Here are a couple images of the other postcards from the book.

If you have friends or relatives to write to over the festive period these would be just great and I think they’d also make super cute stocking fillers as coloured in postcards or perhaps a gift to someone of the whole book of 20 postcards.

I for one would be happy to receive this as a gift.

I just love this little book and the images are super cute and quick to colour, the card is great quality. Just perfect for some christmas colouring on the go.

One Colour at a Time Blog scores this book a fantastic 10 out of 10!
